Your children’s safety is our first priority. We want them to feel welcome and to know that they are just as important to God as the adults! At Kingswood Church we are very grateful to Tracey and her team who ensure children of all ages are actively involved and engaged with the church through ‘climbers’ on Sundays and the Friday ‘Cans’ youth group.

In St Nicholas Church Leeds and St Margrets Church Broomfield, at the moment we simply don’t have the resources to provide children’s groups and so we are working hard to make the regular services more engaging for people of all ages. Children and young people are always encouraged to be part of the services, but there are activity packs available and at Leeds there is a toddler play area which can be used throughout the service.

Please be assured that the development of Children’s and Youth ministry is a huge priority for Rev Mark. His background includes years of youth ministry and he is a qualified youth worker. He also has conducted a research project into the spiritual development of preschool children and takes seriously Jesus’ words…

“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
